In the spring of 2024, Hyundai’s fans expected to see a new generation of the i30 lineup, but instead of that, the automaker unveiled a second facelift for the nameplate’s third generation.

After a successful start in 2016, the compact hatchback from Hyundai, the i30, has received a facelift for the 2020 model-year with a new design, signed by Peter Schreyer.

Hyundai considered that it didn't have enough from the successful model i30 and, in 2017, introduced a fastback version for the third generation of its compact vehicle.
