Kia refreshed the Soul lineup for the 2023 model and unveiled it at the beginning of 2022, boasting a wider choice of trim levels and increasing the safety features.

Two years after establishing a new lineup, the Soul got a refresh for the American market, and the new model was unveiled at the 2011 New York Auto Show by KMA (KIA Motors America).

A vehicle designed for urban traffic, the Kia Soul was unveiled to the public in 2008 at the Paris Auto Show and started selling in 2009. The concept car was presented earlier in 2006 at the North American Internation Auto Show in Detroit.
