Ford has expanded the 2027 Super Duty lineup based on owner feedback, making the Tremor off-road package available across all models and extending it to Crew Cab configurations with the 8-foot bed.
The Tremor package now fits the STX Appearance Package and extended Crew Cab models on a 176-inch wheelbase. The 48-gallon fuel tank option pairs with the longer configuration. Standard Tremor equipment includes 35-inch tires, a factory lift kit, electronic locking rear differential, skid plates, Rock Crawl Mode, and Trail Control.
XL Off-Road Split
The XL Off-Road package now comes in two variants. The 35-Inch Tire Package is the new addition, bringing a higher ride height, limited-slip front differential, electronic locking rear differential, performance shocks, Trail Control, Rock Crawl Mode, Trail Turn Assist, and skid plates. The existing 33-Inch Tire Package is renamed to clarify the distinction.
Platinum Goes Chassis Cab
Ford's premium Platinum interior trim extends to F-350, F-450, and F-550 Chassis Cab models. The target buyer: upfitters who build overlanding rigs, horse haulers, and heavy towing setups on Ford's chassis cab platform. These buyers historically had to choose between a work-grade interior and a vehicle capable of their application. The Platinum Chassis Cab removes that compromise.
None of these changes involve powertrain updates. The 2027 Super Duty is about packaging flexibility and option expansion rather than mechanical evolution. For Ford's heavy-duty truck buyers, that's often exactly what matters.
