911 GT3 Manthey Kit Laps Nürburgring in 6:52.981, 2.8s Faster Than Predecessor

The new Porsche 911 GT3 with Manthey Kit has lapped the Nürburgring Nordschleife in 6:52.981, approximately 2.8 seconds faster than the previous generation with the same kit. Availability starts March 2026 through Porsche Centers worldwide. Full factory warranty intact.

Aero

Downforce at 285 km/h: 355 kg in road mode, 540 kg in circuit mode. Extended turning vanes stretch to 1.5 meters. The front lip is pushed 12 mm forward. A wider rear wing with Gurney flap and enlarged, curved end plates handles the back. Carbon-fiber rear aerodiscs reduce drag. The underbody is completely smooth, including a luggage compartment cover that seals the front end aerodynamically.

540 kg of downforce at 285 km/h is a number more commonly associated with GT3 race cars than road-legal coupes. Porsche and Manthey are compressing the gap between the two.

Suspension

Four-way adjustable coilover suspension replaces the standard setup. Rebound and compression are adjustable without tools, which matters for customers who actually bring their cars to track days and want to iterate between sessions. Front spring rates are up 10% over the predecessor.

Lightweight 20 and 21-inch forged wheels save 6 kg combined. Braided steel brake lines are standard. Optional racing PCCB brake pads are available for those who consider ceramic brakes a consumable.

The kit was developed jointly by Porsche's Weissach Development Centre and Manthey Racing, tested across "several thousand kilometres" on European circuits.
