XPeng's flying car subsidiary Aridge (formerly Xpeng Aeroht) has raised nearly $200 million in its latest round, bringing total equity financing to approximately $1 billion. Investors include GL Ventures, HongShan Capital, Gaorong Ventures, and Fortune Capital. A confidential Hong Kong IPO filing is underway, with a potential 2026 listing backed by JPMorgan Chase and Morgan Stanley.
Manufacturing Scale
Aridge completed a 120,000-square-meter mass production plant in September 2025. The first flying car rolled off in November 2025. Batch trial production wrapped up on March 5, 2026. At full capacity, the facility produces one aircraft every 30 minutes, which Aridge claims makes it the world's first plant using a modern assembly line for aircraft production.
The Product
The "Land Aircraft Carrier" system combines a two-seater flying car with a mothership ground vehicle on an 800V silicon carbide extended-range platform. Total range exceeds 1,000 km. Expected price: under 2 million yuan ($290,000). Three exterior colors were shown in January 2026.
A separate A868 model seats six passengers with over 500 km of range.
Corporate Structure
Aridge rebranded from Xpeng Aeroht in October 2025 and appointed a former Deutsche Bank executive as CFO, signaling IPO preparation. The $1 billion in total funding and the JPMorgan/Morgan Stanley advisor roster position this as one of the most heavily capitalized eVTOL ventures outside of Joby Aviation.
